We have been made aware that there are a number of scam messages being sent across WhatsApp where the sender pretends to be from recruiters or recruitment companies including Foxes Recruitment.
We want to stress that this message is not from Foxes Recruitment Leicester and we have no affiliation with anyone using the name Marcus.
The scammers are posting fake job adverts on Indeed where they obtain your information (read more here)
The scammer will retrieve your information from your job application, and contact you on WhatsApp asking for more information.
We urge you to report any suspicious job adverts to Indeed themselves.
The scammers will direct you to a website which may look legitimate, however it is cleverly created to impersonate a legitimate company website where they will ask you to submit personal information.
If you are contacted by a number on WhatsApp, be sure to delete the message and ensure that you do not follow through with any request unless you are sure the person or company you are speaking to is legit.
You can find out more information on how to spot phishing messages and what action to take on the Action Fraud website, please see more information here: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing.
